_{the raiders son. surviving the bombing of shady sands, ry wandered alone for a while as a child before he was taken in by a group of raiders. his childhood was less than ideal. he never wanted to be a raider but he had no real way on how to leave. one day, though, he had enough and left while the majority of the raiders were gone. he bounced around from settlement to settlement, selling himself for caps to get by before he heard whispers of a vault that was accepting wastelanders in and began heading towards said vault.}.                                                                                                           .ROSE   MACLEAN

_{rose grew up in a vault and spent the majority of her life in one. she married a man from vault thirty one, hank maclean, and had two children with him, lucy and norm. things seemed perfect — they were a happy vault dwelling family. it didn't take long for cracks to start to show however and rose fled to the surface with her two children where she went on to meet lee moldaver. things were better on the surface, until hank came and took lucy and norm back before destroying shady sands, turning rose into a ghoul in the process.}.                                                                                                           .

_{growing up in a vault, lucy was the perfect example of a vault dweller. that all fell apart once her wedding day rolled around. her father was taken by what she assumed to be a group of raiders. lucy left her vault in search of him, exploring the wasteland and discovering herself while she was at it. when she met back up with her father, she discovered the truth about him and her mother.}.                                                                                                           .PIPER   WRIGHT

_{diamond city's journalist. piper gained a want to expose the truth after her father was murdered by his commanding officer. she saved the settlement she'd came from by writing a paper. eventually, she ended up in diamond city with her baby sister, nat, and started up her newspaper. at first, she was liked for it but it soon began to turn people against her despite how she was only telling the truth.}.                                                                                                           .R.A   PETERS

_{part of a trial to create some sort of rad-away like medicine, peters willingly volunteered to dose herself up with radiation. she suffered through the pain of the radiation, throughout february and march before the war. unknowingly, she had been apart of the placebo control group. eventually, she turned into a ghoul and survived the bombs dropping.}
